The Songmaker Series is happy to welcome James Keelaghan back to our stage. Born in Calgary, Alberta, he is a giant of Canadian Folk music, having been compared to the great Gordon Lightfoot. Recently called Canada’s finest singer-songwriter by Dave Marsh, a respected music journalist, James won a 1994 Juno (their Grammy) for best Roots Music Album, with his release “My Skies”. His lilting baritone voice, driving rhythm guitar, and a sense of scene and narrative, help him bridge traditional Folk music with roots revival and Celtic music. With an International following, James plays a variety of venues, from large festivals & concert halls, to intimate folk clubs. Won't you join us for this special evening with James Keelaghan!
